And especially being responsible for delivering success by seeing opportunities and translating these into concrete, tangible results? Due to expansion of our consultancy department, Relay42 is looking for a Consultant Customer Strategy with experience in digital marketing and who is a true influencer with excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills!

Your role: 

The Consultant Customer Strategy takes a more proactive role in delivering business impact by understanding goals and business needs and transforming these into opportunities. He/she is end responsible for delivering success for several key customers in a fixed time frame by understanding customers’ business drivers, seeing opportunities and translating these into concrete, tangible results. He/ she aims to make Relay42’s technology indispensable when it comes to reaching the company’s objectives and having a strong business impact, by helping companies gather business insides and transforming these into concrete marketing improvements. 

  • Take the overall lead in the project, align different teams and resources both internally and externally
  • Use relationship and mandate to get cooperation, commitment and support from all stakeholders
  • Keep key stakeholders / management informed on progress
  • Mitigate project risks and potential hurdles
  • Create up and cross sell opportunities by growing adoption in customer organisation and business needs
  • Draft a challenging but feasible roadmap together with the team and enforce commitment on the required resources internally and at client level


What are we looking for? 

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in cross channel with a solid understanding of digital marketing landscape and platforms. He/she is highly driven to achieve results and is unstoppable until the goal has been accomplished. He/she is a fast learner and, thinks in solutions rather than problems. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills, who feels confident in giving presentations and is a smart initiator. A person combining strong consultancy skills and the passion for diving into details. Proactivity is key in this role since we are at the forefront of the fast-moving marketing technology sector. 

We expect: 

  • Bachelor or master degree 
  • At least 5 years of consultancy or other relevant work experience of which at least 3 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in cross channel marketing
  • Excellent business strategy problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record and at least 3 years of experience in managing complex projects at enterprise customers
  • Basic understanding of data management platform / customer data platform landscape
  • Strong experience in change management and adoption
  • Higher management sparring partner
  • Ability to translate high level business goals into concrete marketing opportunities
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Excellent consultancy and project management skills
  • Strategic thinker
