Relay42 is looking for a Team Lead Solutions Consultants with strong business acumen to head our APAC team and create value for our clients in the region.

Your role:

As the Team Lead Solutions Consultants APAC, you and your team help our clients to implement our technology and subsequently roll-out cross channel customer journeys by delivering on premise hands-on consulting. Based on the defined roadmap and together with different teams at the client, these customer journeys help realise the cross channel targets of the client organisation. Your customers create value by improving the experience for their customers, by increasing sales and decreasing costs.

You are responsible for your own customer projects and for the customer projects of your team. You enjoy acting as a sparring partner for your colleagues. Full understanding of our platform's capabilities, limitations, common and less common use-cases are just one of your superpowers which allow you to properly oversee customer-facing projects and deliver business value. You should be comfortable overseeing the business side of the onboarding of new clients or assisting existing clients on the most complex use cases. You are an inspirational leader to your team, and you guide them and coach them to deliver success for our customers. You keep your team engaged, organized and happy. You also project manage activities from other teams for your customers.


Your responsibilities:

Onboarding of new clients

  • Manage customised implementation via standard methodology at new clients to get the platform up and running and demonstrate its capabilities with a use case within a specified time frame
  • Train the client in the usage of our platform
  • Execute proof of technology or proof of concept when customer requires this

Structural post onboarding support for existing clients

  • Help clients to define, configure and deploy marketing use cases, customer journeys, and connectors, to create value for the client
  • Help clients structurally improve their KPI’s, track and share results, evaluate and optimize on a regular basis
  • Involve technical consultancy when necessary

Project management for client projects

  • Create project plans and timelines
  • Managing expectations on timelines, resources, and deliverables
  • Coordinate the work of several Relay42 teams, customer stakeholders and sometimes external partners, to deliver customer success
  • Translate more complex client requests into written requirements for product improvements

Strategy & roadmap definition for clients

  • Understand goals and business of the client and help transform these into a challenging but feasible long-term roadmap of use cases and customer journeys in the DMP
  • Inspire the client with innovative examples / new features

Team leadership of your Relay42 team

  • Responsibility for the customer projects of yourself and of your team. Use case and roadmap reviews of your team. Join key customer meetings of your team.
  • Performance management and active coaching and mentoring of your team members
  • Setting up personal growth plans for your team members and following up on them
  • Implementing standard way of working of global Consultancy practice
  • Continuous improvements in ways of working and processes
  • Grow the team along with business demand. Do selection of new team members.

Collaborating with external partners

  • Work with local external partner who teams up with us to acquire new customers. Work in seamless collaboration with them and contribute to the commercial work. You team up with them in account management and join sales pitches.
  • Work with local external partner which delivers consulting support to some of our customers.

What are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate has excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with 8+ years of experience of which at least 5 years working in digital marketing, preferably in cross channel marketing as subject matter expert. The candidate has basic technical understanding of the concepts of DMO, tag management, API, and MarTech landscape and is experienced in data-driven decision making. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with experience working in or for enterprise companies. Other skills that we consider as a big advantage are consultancy, project management, platform implementation, proficiency in at least one Asian language, and leading/coaching people.
